11/14/12 Online Chat notes



  • Instead of sharing papers, share overview of each company
    • should we create a format for the overview of companies? 
  • per conversation with instructor, group decides which four companies for TOA
  • guideline for TOA, follow IOA, example include:
    • structure
    • detail
    • platform
    • what worked and what didn't
  • Vickie with create a timeline and share with the team, this will include everything ( team evaluations etc)
  • Google doc for PPT?

TEAM CHARTER - Group 4




The charter includes the following sections:


1.  Purpose

This team has been formed to complete a Team Organizational Analysis for BA 302. Our overall goal is to master course concepts and apply the course material in our tem project.  The anticipated outcome is to work effectively as a team by following through on our commitments and working together effectively.


2.  Scope

Objective is to master course material in a team setting and present a impressive TOA PPT that will earn an A in for the class.


3.   Team composition

There are four members designated to the group. We have a mix of cultural backgrounds and a good mix of talent.  Leadership skills like being contentious and open to new experiences are apparent and are valuable to the team’s success.

Self-managed team – take turns in the leadership role

Ali is on charge of coordinating the meetings.
Hamad is charge of leading the team.
Vicki is in charge of quality control.
Polly is in charge of recording outcomes and timeline management.


6.  Team operations
Group will review work on a weekly basis on google docs.

7.  Team Performance Assessment

In order for the team to be successful, team members are to be punctual and follow through with their assigned tasks.
